I promised to write this post long time ago, but as a real explorer and researcher I wanted to get full opinion about the product and be sure for 100% in its features. So, I expanded my try to 3 months, finished the bottle and got some visible (at least for me!) results.

Short description from Odacite site:

Highly nutritive serum specially formulated for the delicate, thin skin of the eye contour.
Rich in Vitamins A, E & F and plant sterols, the magnificent Baobab oil targets all signs of aging around the fragile eye area, helping to reduce wrinkles and increase elasticity.
Working as a quartet, Sarsaparilla, Palmarosa Neroli, and Lavender oils further support wrinkle reduction and help to relieve puffiness & dark circles.
Sarsaparilla is known, in aromatherapy, to be cheering and reassuring.

The serum is actually oil, pure aromatherapeutic oil with oil properties, but not heavy, not sticky. It has light texture and good absorbing features, just remember you need only one drop of it for both of your eyes. I think a half drop would be perfect but how can you measure this half?!

As you know, oils cannot really moisturize but they able to lock water on the skin surface and in the top layer of epidermis. This means you have to use some hydrator before or with your oil. I used Ba+S serum in conjunction with other, moisturizing eye products and got some good results. I liked Bottega Organica Eye Serum, Odacite Eye Cream, Skinowl Eye+, but my favorite was Kahina Eye Balm (it’s creamy, not balmy at all). Morning and evening during my regular beauty routine I mixed a drop of Odacite serum with pea-size portion of a cream and massaged it very lightly around eyes (this technique I learned from Pevonia. They use it for their Lumafirm Eye Contour. You can find some YouTube video showing how to do it).

Ingredients:

Baobab oil is rich source of vitamin A, E, F and plant sterols and very good in combating all the signs of ageing. It helps with maintaining elasticity, fights against gravitation type of aging,  makes the delicate skin in eye area looks firmer,  more toned and the crowfeet less visible. The serum has light yellowish color, almost transparent, not so greasy texture and nice aroma of essential oils. The aroma is so subtle that after few uses I stopped to smell it. The absorption is pretty good, but remember this is an oil and it doesn’t leave your skin completely  dry. You can feel some oiliness after application, so would be better to wait 5-10 minutes before start a makeup part of your beauty routine.
This serum concentrate is coming in tiny dark, almost black glass (I believe it is a miron glass) bottle which is good for any aromatherapy products and protects them from environmental damage. The inconvenient side of “darkness”: it makes some difficulties to see how much oil left. The dropper doesn’t help a lot because it is unable to catch a thing from the bottom of the bottle. For the last drops I had to turn my bottle upside down and shake it. But it is only one negative moment I got!

And now, to the results! Then you use natural, organic skincare you cannot get visible and strong results immediately or after few days of using. It is impossible because our skin cells period to renew is about 28 days. So, the first real signs of any skincare work have to appear after 28-30 days, sometimes a little bit more. All aromatherapy products, oils and balms are “slow beauty” care. It means they work pretty slow, but any little-tiny results stay with us and don’t disappear then we stop to use a particular product. This is a simple cumulative process: the longer we use product, the stronger results are!                           Same with Odacite Ba+S serum. I started to see more firmer and toned skin after more than month of use. As they promise, it works against sagging and lost of natural elasticity, but it doesn’t help with puffiness, dark circles, mimic lines or really deep wrinkles. This concentrate is pure firming potion helping to lift eyelids, to make their skin smoother and maybe brighter, and to decrease, but slightly, the depth of existing wrinkles. I think it’s good enough! Together with matching eye cream this concentrate was truly pampering my pretty delicate eye area and never gave me any negative reaction!                                           If you enjoy beauty rituals and like to use pure, clean formulas, this concentrate is for you! Definitely!

I purchased my serum from Odacite online shop. The full price is $42 for 5 ml which lasts about 3 months or more. Pretty often the company has a special deals and offers, so you can pay less and even get some nice gift with purchase. Don’t forget about cute samples sets! You can buy 3 samples of any of Odacite products include Ba+S serum for $4.99 and try it. I love this idea and wish all companies would have samples for sale!
